Your Instructor

I cannot remember a time when I did not have a camera in my hand. My first camera was a 1955 Kodak Retina Reflex SLR, one of the first SLRs at that time, and three lenses.
My first gallery showing was at the age of 15 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. That same year I produced a documentary photo series on black poverty for Congresswoman Francis Dawson, in Burlington, NC.
In 1981 I moved to California and stayed 37 years. I now live near Austin, Texas.
I’m proud to be a contracted beta-tester for Adobe Photoshop and DxO PhotoLab.
I’ve been using Photoshop since version 5, first introduced in May, 1998. I’ve been teaching post-processing for 30 years with PeachPit, Lynda.com, Adobe, Video-to-Brain and other online course publishers.
I’m proud to offer my self-hosted online courses available at a reasonable cost.
